Winter weather creates lots of opprtunites for talking! Frosty mornings, playing in the snow, getting dressed up in warm outdoor clothes and feeding the birds are all good starting points.

You could also

• Share rhymes and activities with a winter theme. 
• Make indoor snow scenes with shaving foam and play dough snowmen 
• Make bird cake to feed the birds
