Speech and Language Therapy Service

The Speech and Language Therapy Service is run by Coventry Healthcare NHS Trust and is staffed with speech and language therapists, who are specialists in the assessment and remediation of speech, language, communication, and feeding and swallowing difficulties. The Pre School Education Service

The Pre-school Education Service is a team of specialist teachers, nursery nurses and learning support assistants who provide learning and behaviour support at home, early years settings and school nursery for young children who are experiencing difficulties with their development.

The Sensory SupportService

The Sensory Support Service is a team of specialist (hearing and vision) teachers and support staff providing highly specialist support for children with hearing or vision difficulties .

The Speech and Language Support Service

The Speech and Language Support Service is a team of specialist teachers, nursery nurses and teaching assistants who provide educational support to students with diagnosed speech and language disorders in a number of mainstream schools across the city.

The Parents Partnership Service

The Parent Partnership Service provides information and support to parents whose children have special educational needs. They provide accurate and neutral information on the full range of options available to parents.

The Children and Family Education Service

The Children and Family Education Service supports family learning, encouraging learning through play and learning from experience. The service provides a range of courses to help parents and carers support their children's learning.

Children's Centres

Coventry's Children's Centres aim to offer parents of young children help, advice, support and information on all aspects of parenting in order to give every child the best possible start in life.

The Children's Information Service

The Children's Information Service provides information about all aspects of childcare for children between the ages of 0 and 14 years. It also holds information on many local and national organisations across the city and surrounding areas that provide services for children, young peopleand their families.

The Children's Library Service and Bookstart

Coventry Libraries and Information Services offer a wide range of services for children and young people from the latest books to read to help with homework. All libraries have collections of books for children from board books and picture books for the very young to books for teenagers and graphic novels.
